• Manage and maintain the network infrastructure, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity for POS devices and related systems to the backend infrastructure

• Manage hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
• Manage software (POS clients, servers, operating systems)
• Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network hardware and software
• Diagnose and resolve network issues, including hardware failures, software glitches, and connectivity problems.
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect the network from unauthorized access, malware, and other threats.
• Monitor network performance and identify bottlenecks
• Provide technical support to users, addressing their questions and issues related to the network and its devices.
• Ensure seamless integration of POS devices (terminals, printers, scanners) with the network.
• Support physical inventory management of the POS devices and peripherals.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong technical skills: Knowledge of network protocols, hardware, and software.
• Problem-solving skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
• Communication skills: Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical users.
• Experience with POS systems and/or payment processing: Desirable.
• Networking certifications: Desirable.
