We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused
Portfolio Manager
to drive insurance policy sales through lead generation, virtual engagement, and strong relationship management. The role involves both acquiring new customers and servicing existing leads provided through the retail distribution channel.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Funnel Management:
Conduct BTL activities to expand the prospect base.
Encourage referrals from existing and potential customers.
Maximize digital and social media platforms to engage qualified leads.
Customer Engagement & Sales:
Conduct need-based sales by analyzing customer profiles and recommending suitable products.
Guide customers through the policy issuance process for a smooth experience.
Regularly follow up with leads in progress and provide timely support.
Lead & Performance Tracking:
Update and maintain lead information on LMS/VYMO.
Track and monitor policy issuance for accuracy and speed.
Ensure all documentation and compliance requirements are fulfilled.
Candidate Profile:
Experience:
3-6 years of overall work experience
Minimum 6 months in life insurance sales / retail bank / co-operative bank / DSA channel management
Skills Required:
Strong customer orientation and relationship-building skills
Proficiency in digital platforms and virtual communication
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
Active listening and coordination abilities
Effective time management and follow-up discipline
