Job description
Responsibilities:

• Provide support to enhance the frequency and accuracy of forecasting for generic pharmaceutical products (Oral, Injectables / Complex Injectables, Inhalational Products, etc.) and business development activities.
• Effectively communicate modeling assumptions to key stakeholders, including senior leadership, and triangulate these assumptions with supporting data and forecasting models to test their robustness and develop "what if" scenarios.
• Create and maintain commercial assessments to support company needs such as annual budgets, strategic planning, capacity expansions, pipeline reviews, business opportunities, and recurring financial projections.
• Establish and maintain a network of secondary and primary research sources in support of planned generic and innovative products to aid in developing product launch plans and strategies.
• Develop reports and analyze the effectiveness of standard business assumptions related to product forecasting - including generic substitution rate, market share, and pricing - using data analytics tools.
• Develop and maintain forecast vs. actual reports for launched products, using analytical insights to improve forecast accuracy for pipeline products.
• Gain expertise in EPM planning tools to become a superuser and design consolidated reports required by internal stakeholders (e.g., pipeline volumes, product performance metrics, etc.).

• Bachelor's degree required in Science, Business, or Marketing (Advanced degree preferred).
• A well-rounded professional with 2+ years of experience in the Generic Rx Pharmaceutical industry, specifically in areas such as sales, marketing, or supply and logistics.
• Demonstrated understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and marketing principles; familiarity with regulatory frameworks for pharmaceutical products is desirable.
• Proven excellence in generic sales or marketing and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively and on time.
• Working knowledge of competitive intelligence tools such as IQVIA, Cortellis, GlobalData, Evaluate, IPD, and public financial filings for commercial assessment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.); experience with data analytics tools like Tableau, Alteryx, and Power BI is a plus but not mandatory.
