The Pool Assistant supports the safe and smooth operation of the swimming pool by assisting guests, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring pool rules and safety guidelines are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist guests in and around the pool area and provide basic guidance on pool rules.
Monitor pool surroundings to ensure safety and report any unsafe behavior or hazards.
Support lifeguards in maintaining a safe swimming environment.
Ensure pool area cleanliness, including decks, changing rooms, and nearby facilities.
Help control crowd movement and ensure children are accompanied by parents/guardians.
Provide basic first aid assistance in case of minor incidents (as trained).
Coordinate with the maintenance team for pool equipment and water hygiene support.
Requirements & Skills:
Basic swimming knowledge preferred.
Good communication and customer-handling skills.
Ability to stay alert and attentive for long periods.
Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in a pool, water park, or hospitality environment.
First aid or water safety training is an added advantage.
