Key Responsibilities

Compounding & Formulation

Develop and modify rubber formulations using natural and synthetic rubbers Select and evaluate raw materials (polymers, fillers, curatives, accelerators, additives) Optimize compound properties for performance, cost, and processability

Processing & Production Support

Support rubber processing operations: mixing (internal mixer, open mill), extrusion, molding, calendaring, curing Troubleshoot processing issues and recommend corrective actions Define and optimize process parameters

Testing & Quality Assurance

Conduct and analyze rubber tests: Mooney viscosity, rheometer, hardness, tensile, elongation, abrasion, compression set, aging, etc. Ensure products meet customer and industry standards (ASTM, ISO, IS) Support quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives

New Product Development (NPD)

Support NPD projects from concept to commercialization Coordinate lab and plant trials, prototype development, and validations Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and test reports

Customer & Supplier Interaction

Provide technical support to customers and resolve product-related issues Coordinate with raw material suppliers for trials and technical data

Experience

1-4 years of experience in rubber or polymer manufacturing / R&D
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
