Job Description

We are seeking a technically skilled and hands-on Lab Technician who can

independently operate advanced polymer testing equipment and maintain

high-quality documentation as per ASTM/ISO standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Polymer Testing & Analysis

? Conduct routine and advanced testing of polymers to evaluate thermal,

physical, and mechanical properties

? Ensure tests are performed strictly as per ASTM / ISO standards and

internal SOPs.

2. Polymer Compounding R&D & Formulation Development

? Conduct lab-scale R&D to develop and improve polymer compounds with

various fillers, additives, and modifiers.

? Use solid understanding of polymer properties (PP, PE, engineering

plastics, filled compounds) to design or refine formulations that achieve

targeted mechanical, thermal, and physical properties such as impact

strength, tensile strength, stiffness, density, and heat resistance.

? Evaluate alternate raw materials to optimize cost, performance, and

processing efficiency. Recommend formulation changes and processing

adjustments to improve material flow, stability, dispersion, and overall

product quality.

? Troubleshoot material-related issues (e.g., streaks, poor dispersion,

inconsistent test results) and support production with technical guidance.

3. Equipment Maintenance & Safety

? Operate laboratory equipment with utmost care and precaution, ensuring

safe handling at all times.

? Perform routine maintenance, calibration checks, and basic

troubleshooting of instruments.

4. Data Management & Documentation

? Maintain accurate logs of all tests, batches, formulations, and experimental

results.

? Document R&D trials, observations, and performance outcomes in an

organized format.

Prepare datasets required for internal reviews, QC audits, and ISO

documentation.

? Ensure all data is backed up, traceable, and compliant with company

documentation protocols.

5. Support for ISO & Quality Systems

? Assist in developing and maintaining SOPs, calibration records, and

traceability documents aligned with ISO 9001 / ISO 17025 preparedness.

? Follow correct documentation practices to ensure repeatability, reliability,

and audit readiness of the lab processes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
