Experience Required:

in polyhouse or greenhouse farming with proven expertise in clean and controlled environment agriculture.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agronomy, or Plant Sciences. Certification or training in greenhouse management, hydroponics, or clean farming practices will be an advantage.

Role Overview:

The Polyhouse Expert will lead and manage the entire polyhouse farming operations at AnnPriya. This role involves developing strategies, managing infrastructure, and ensuring efficient and sustainable farming processes under controlled-environment conditions. The position demands strong technical expertise, leadership, and a deep understanding of modern clean farming methods.

Key Responsibilities:

Develops and executes strategic plans for crop cycles, yield optimization, and operational efficiency within the polyhouse facilities, ensuring alignment with AnnPriya's clean farming vision. Oversees the setup, maintenance, and enhancement of polyhouse infrastructure, including climate control systems, irrigation networks, and fertigation mechanisms. Plans and monitors crop schedules, maintaining optimal environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, and light for maximum yield and quality. Designs and implements nutrient and fertigation programs that ensure healthy crop growth and resource efficiency. Establishes and supervises Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices with a focus on balanced and sustainable approaches. Leads and mentors the agronomy and technical teams, fostering a culture of precision, accountability, and innovation. Ensures that all operations comply with agricultural standards, environmental norms, and safety regulations. Analyzes performance data on yield, resource use, and productivity to drive continuous improvement in operations. Collaborates with R&D and operations teams to evaluate and adopt new techniques, crop varieties, and technologies suited for controlled-environment farming. Manages budgets, resources, and procurement processes to ensure cost-effective and seamless polyhouse operations.
