Gather and analyze information on political events and trends Develop and maintain a network of sources Write stories, features, and investigative pieces Attend press conferences, political events, and rallies Work with editors and producers to shape content for various platforms Stay up-to-date with the latest political developments and breaking news Travel domestically and internationally as required
Political Reporter Qualifications Skills

Master's degree in journalism or a related field Experience covering major political events and elections Familiarity with data journalism and visual storytelling Ability to speak multiple languages Bachelor's degree in journalism, political science, or a related field Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks Familiarity with digital media and technology Strong knowledge of national and international politics Ability to maintain impartiality and objectivity in reporting
