We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable

Political Content Writer

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of current political affairs, excellent writing skills, and the ability to produce engaging, informative, and accurate content for a variety of platforms.

As a Political Content Writer, you will be responsible for researching and writing articles, opinion pieces, reports, and social media content focused on political developments, policies, elections, public figures, and government actions, both domestically and internationally (depending on scope).

Responsibilities:

Research and write high-quality political content including news articles, editorials, analysis pieces, blogs, and newsletters. Monitor political news, government announcements, and key events to ensure timely coverage. Conduct interviews with political figures, analysts, and experts when needed. Ensure all content is accurate, unbiased, and adheres to journalistic ethics. Collaborate with editors, researchers, and digital media teams to shape content strategies. Optimize content for SEO and audience engagement (where applicable). Stay informed about political trends, public policy, and legislation relevant to the target audience.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a political writer, journalist, or content creator. Strong knowledge of political systems, current affairs, and legislative processes. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Ability to simplify complex political issues for a general audience. Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Journalism, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Familiarity with AP Style or other editorial standards is a plus. Comfortable working under deadlines and managing multiple assignments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience writing for digital media platforms or political campaigns. Background in political consulting, government, or advocacy. Understanding of audience engagement tools and analytics
