Job Summary:

The Wood Polisher is responsible for preparing, sanding, and polishing wooden surfaces and furniture to achieve a high-quality finish. This includes applying stains, sealers, lacquers, and other finishes using hand tools or spray equipment. The ideal candidate has experience in wood finishing techniques and a keen eye for detail and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect wooden surfaces for defects and imperfections before polishing Sand wood surfaces manually or with machines to achieve a smooth finish Apply stains, sealers, lacquers, varnishes, or other finishing products Use brushes, cloths, spray guns, or buffing machines to apply finishes Match color tones and ensure uniformity across wood surfaces Follow safety procedures and handle chemicals and equipment responsibly Maintain polishing tools and finishing equipment Collaborate with carpenters, painters, and other team members to meet project requirements Meet quality standards and production deadlines Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Proven experience as a wood polisher or in wood finishing (1-3 years preferred) Knowledge of wood types, stains, and finishing techniques

Pay: ?12,000.00 - ?19,000.00 per month
