Insurance PoSP - Role Summary

An Insurance PoSP serves as a direct representative of insurance broking companies, selling basic insurance products to retail customers and guiding them through policy selection and servicing of all insurance companies working in India.

Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition:

Generate leads and expand the customer base through prospecting.

Needs Assessment:

Understand clients' financial situations to recommend suitable insurance plans.

Product Recommendation:

Explain and suggest appropriate policies (life, health, motor) tailored to client needs.

Sales & Renewals:

Facilitate policy purchases and manage renewals.

Customer Support:

Assist with claims, answer queries, and provide ongoing service.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate client data and prepare reports.

Industry Awareness:

Stay informed on insurance trends and regulatory updates.
Essential Skills & Qualifications

Communication & Interpersonal Skills:

Build trust and rapport with clients.

Sales & Negotiation:

Persuade effectively and meet sales targets.

Insurance Knowledge:

Understand various insurance types and their features.

Organization & Time Management:

Handle multiple clients and maintain records efficiently.

Customer Service Orientation:

Deliver consistent post-sales support.

Technical Proficiency:

Use digital tools for client and policy management.

Education:

Minimum 10th Pass. Need to complete POSP training of Insurance Institute of India, after joing. Remuneration: Commissions will be paid based on Business Generation.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
