Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled

Podcast Video Editor

who can handle end-to-end video editing for podcast episodes. The ideal candidate should be creative, detail-oriented, and capable of producing engaging video content tailored for YouTube, social media snippets (Reels/Shorts), and podcast platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Edit long-form video podcasts (multi-camera setup) ensuring high-quality output. Create engaging short-form clips (Reels, Shorts) from podcast content. Add intros, outros, lower-thirds, captions, transitions, and visual effects where needed. Sync audio and video accurately with clean cuts and smooth flow. Enhance audio (basic noise reduction, EQ, levels) for clarity. Collaborate with the content team to brainstorm creative editing styles and formats. Ensure brand guidelines and tone are maintained across all edits. Manage deadlines and deliver edited content as per the release calendar. Organize and maintain a library of raw footage and edited content.

Skills & Requirements

Proven experience in video editing, especially for podcasts, interviews, or talk shows. Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve). Familiarity with audio editing tools (Audition, Audacity, or similar). Ability to create subtitles and captions accurately. Knowledge of YouTube and social media video formats & aspect ratios. A good sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics. Ability to work independently and handle feedback positively. Knowledge of basic graphic design/motion graphics is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Media, Film, Communication, or related field. Prior experience in podcast/video editing for social media channels. Up-to-date with podcasting trends and editing techniques.
