Job Role & Responsibilities

Podcast Editing & Promotions (Primary)

Edit long-form podcast episodes for YouTube and audio platforms. Clean, balance, and enhance audio for clarity (noise reduction, leveling, vocal presence). Structure episodes to ensure smooth flow, clarity, and strong listener engagement. Create promotional content including teasers, trailers, and episode promos. Identify and highlight key moments, insights, and hooks from conversations. Add basic visual elements such as titles, lower thirds, and brand styling. Maintain consistency in tone, pacing, and quality across all episodes and promotional assets.

Personal Branding Reels (Primary)

Edit high-retention short-form reels for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn. Apply retention-first editing techniques (strong hooks, jump cuts, pattern interrupts, captions). Create clean, brand-aligned reels for founders and personal brands. Repurpose long-form podcast content into multiple engaging short-form clips.

General Responsibilities

Perform basic colour correction and sound balancing. Design thumbnails for podcast episodes and promotional content. Execute basic animations using Adobe After Effects (titles, captions, simple motion graphics). Follow personal brand guidelines consistently across all content. Manage multiple edits and revisions while meeting deadlines. Collaborate closely with content strategists and incorporate feedback effectively.

Eligibility Criteria

Education:

Graduate or Diploma in Media, Film, Design, or a related field (preferred, not mandatory)*

Experience:

0-3 years in podcast editing, personal branding videos, or content editing

Language:

Basic to good English communication skills

Core Skills

Adobe Premiere Pro DaVinci Resolve Adobe After Effects Strong understanding of podcast storytelling and pacing Good command over short-form retention editing Strong audio clarity and vocal presentation skills

Additional Skills (Good to Have)

Understanding of content performance metrics (retention, watch time, completion rate) Motion graphics for captions and transitions Basic exposure to 3D tools Interest in AI video tools (Runway, Sora, Kling, Veo, etc.) Curiosity to explore AI-assisted clipping and captioning workflows
