AMD together we advance_ PMTS SILICON DESIGN ENGINEER THE ROLE: We are seeking a seasoned SoC verification engineer with DFX expertise or significant interest in DFX verification. You have had significant success driving verification. You are meticulous about DFT/DFD verification while driving program with quility deliverables on time. This senior role will stretch you as you lead DFX teams in new directions, network with our world-class, patent-holding think-tank, and negotiate amongst design teams, Post Silicon validation and business unit executives. THE PERSON: You have excellent communication and presentation skills, demonstrated through technical publications, presentations, trainings, executive briefings, etc. You are highly adept at collaboration among top-thinkers and engineers alike, ready to mentor and guide, and help to elevate the knowledge and skills of the team around you. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Define DFX verification requirements, drive technical specifications to meet those requirements, and provide technical direction to execution teams Work cross functionally with IP/DFX architects/Design team to identify and assess complex technical issues/risks and develop test plan with complete coverage Knowledge sharing and other contributions to DFX and Pattern team As an overall DFX tech lead, responsible for feature extraction, technical guidance to execution team for test case development and complete the verification on time with quality Work closely with Design teams, Architechture team, IP team, External IP vendor, Emulation plans, Pre-Si bug resolution and Verification sign offs Support Post-Si teams for Silicon bring-up PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Outstanding foundation in SV/UVM/C++ Experience in various aspects of DFX verification - JTAG, SCAN, BSCAN, MBIST, PHY_LB, Security, HDT, DbgBus etc Demonstrated expertise in DFX Verification Expereince with NLP simulation Expertise in one or more of the following: CPU or GPU, Memory sub-system, Fabrics, CPU/GPU coherency, Multimedia, I/O subsystems, Clocks, Resets, Virtualization and Security Strong programmable language experince is required (Verilog, SV, Perl, Python, Makefile, C++) Excellent communication, management, and presentation skills. Adept at collaboration among top-thinkers and senior architects with strong interpersonal skills to work across teams in different geographies This position requires 15+ years of technical experience ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in related discipline preferred #LI- SR4 Benefits offered are described: .
