Job description
Role Description:

• A PML Programmer will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and support of the AVEVA E3D software platform.
• The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PML, C#, and Python, with additional programming languages being advantageous if the candidate is proficient in them. In addition, experience in macro generation and customization of the user interface is preferred.

• Development: Design, develop, and maintain applications using PML, C# coding, including Aveva E3D, Aveva Engineering, Aveva Instrumentation, Aveva P&ID and other related software.
• Customization: Customize Aveva applications to meet specific project requirements, including the development of macros, scripts, and plugins.
• Integration: Integrate Aveva tools with other enterprise systems and software, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
• Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Aveva applications, resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for developed solutions, including user manuals, technical specifications, and workflow diagrams.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, provide status updates, and ensure successful project delivery.
• Training: Conduct training sessions for end-users and team members on Aveva tools and developed solutions.

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in developing and customizing applications using PML 1 & 2, PMLNET, C#, .NET Framework. (Must Have)
• Experience with Aveva E3D, Aveva Engineering, Aveva Instrumentation, Aveva P&ID, TEKLA and other related software.
• Experience with SQL databases and writing complex queries.
• Experience with CAD software and 3D modeling.

• Object Oriented design and development. (Must have)
• Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5+, WPF, WCF. (Must have)
• Expert in creation of Standalone application to do scheduled tasks combination of SQL, SAP data and Dabacon database. (Must have)
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in engineering and design. (Must have)
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, VB.NET, Python, or similar.
• Windows Application Development using .NET WinForms.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services such as AWS or Azure.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
