Position:

Packaging Machinery Qc Supervisor

Location:

Ode, Ahmedabad

Salary:

25000 to 30000 PM

Qualification:

Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Science, or Packaging Technology.

Experience:

2-5 years of experience in packaging material QA/QC (FMCG, Cosmetics, Pharma, Food industries preferred).

:

1. Incoming Material Inspection

o Perform and supervise inspection of all incoming packaging materials. o Check critical parameters such as dimensions, OFC, GSM, micron, fitment, sealing, leakage, colour, printing quality, etc. o Ensure materials meet approved specifications, drawings, and standards. o Prepare inspection reports, record results, and update ERP/QC systems.

2. In-Process Quality Checks

o Monitor packaging materials during production to ensure consistent quality. o Check fitment on line (bottle + cap + plug + label + pouch +poly bag + Wad + pump). o Verify sealing, labeling, shrink, capping torque, and overall packaging integrity. o Identify and report any deviations or defects found on the line.

3. Supplier Coordination

o Communicate defects, non-conformities, and improvement requirements to suppliers. o Follow up on CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions). o Participate in supplier audits and evaluation.

4. Documentation & Reporting

o Maintain records of inspection reports, rejection reports, test results, deviations, etc. o Support preparation and review of TDS/SOP/Specs for packaging materials. o Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, GMP, FMCG manufacturing standards).

5. Team Supervision

o Guide, train, and supervise the team of quality inspectors. o Ensure proper sampling methods and inspection techniques are followed. o Support continuous improvement initiatives.

6. Quality Improvement & Problem Solving

o Analyse repeated defects and implement preventive actions. o Work with production to solve issues such as leakage, breakage, label issues, OFC, pouch issue, variation, sealing issues, etc. o Support trials for new packaging materials and provide results.
