Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for plumbing and firefighting systems. Review tender drawings, specifications, and contract documents to identify scope, risks, and cost impacts. Perform quantity take-offs for piping, fixtures, fittings, pumps, valves, fire suppression systems, and accessories. Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Prepare comparative statements and recommend cost-effective solutions. Coordinate with design, planning, procurement, and project teams to clarify technical and commercial requirements. Analyze variations, value engineering proposals, and cost control measures. Ensure compliance with project specifications, local authority requirements, and applicable codes and standards (NFPA, BS, EN, IPC, etc.). Support tender submissions, including pricing breakdowns and technical clarifications. Maintain estimation records, cost databases, and historical project data.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 5-8 years of experience in plumbing and firefighting estimation for in building services engineering. Strong knowledge of plumbing and firefighting systems, materials, and installation methods. Proficiency in estimation software and tools (Excel, AutoCAD, PlanSwift, CostX, or similar). Familiarity with international and local standards and codes. The selected candidate will be required to work attached to our Bangalore & Delhi office
