Senior Plumbing & Fire Fighting Engineer (Tendering & Costing)
to handle end-to-end estimation, tendering, and costing activities for plumbing and fire fighting works in high-rise residential projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of
detailed BOQs
for Plumbing & Fire Fighting works
Quantity take-off from
Tender / GFC drawings
Preparation of
accurate rate analysis
(material, labour & composite)
End-to-end
tendering, costing, and budget preparation
Preparation and submission of
tender documents
Preparation of
comparative statements
for contractor/vendor quotations
Coordination with
design, site, purchase, and contracts teams
Handling
variation, extra item, and revised BOQs
Cost control, budgeting, and
value engineering
Support during
contract finalization and negotiations
Ensuring compliance with
NBC, Fire norms, and IS standards
Systems Knowledge Required:
Plumbing Systems: Water Supply, Drainage, STP, RWH
Fire Fighting Systems: Hydrant, Sprinkler, Fire Pumps, Fire Shaft
Knowledge of
NBC, Local Fire Authority norms, and IS codes
Education Qualification:
BE / Diploma in Mechanical or Civil Engineering OR equivalent
Required Skills:
Minimum
8-12 years of experience
in Plumbing & Fire Fighting tendering & costing
Strong knowledge of
BOQ, estimation, and rate analysis
Proficiency in
MS Excel
(mandatory)
Working knowledge of
AutoCAD
Strong analytical and negotiation skills
Good communication and coordination abilities
Preferred Candidate:
Experience in
high-rise residential buildings
Ability to work independently and lead junior team members
Immediate or short-notice joiner preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
