5-10 years (preferably in residential or township projects)

Qualification:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Job Purpose:

To plan, design, execute, and supervise all plumbing-related systems in residential construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, safety norms, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:1. Planning and Design:

Review architectural and MEP drawings; coordinate plumbing layouts. Design water supply, drainage, rainwater harvesting, sewage, and STP systems. Ensure adherence to IS codes, NBC norms, and local municipal standards. Liaise with consultants and architects for design clarifications.

2. Execution and Supervision:

Oversee installation of plumbing systems at the site as per approved drawings. Monitor daily progress, contractor productivity, and material usage. Coordinate with site engineers and other services (electrical, civil, HVAC) to prevent clashes. Conduct inspections and quality checks at each stage of installation.

3. Vendor and Contractor Management:

Work with plumbing contractors and vendors for timely delivery and execution. Verify contractor bills, work orders, and material requisitions. Support procurement in identifying suitable plumbing materials and vendors.

4. Testing and Commissioning:

Supervise hydro testing, pressure testing, and functional testing of plumbing systems. Ensure readiness of plumbing systems for handover to clients/occupants. Support in resolving snag list items and post-handover plumbing issues.

5. Documentation and Compliance:

Maintain daily/weekly progress reports. Ensure compliance with safety norms and environmental standards. Keep records of as-built drawings and red-line markups.

Key Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of plumbing design and construction practices. Familiarity with AutoCAD and plumbing-related software. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Good project coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills. Knowledge of IS/NBC/CPHEEO standards and statutory plumbing codes.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
