Role Overview

The Plumbing Engineer - MEP will be responsible for planning, designing, and supervising the execution of plumbing systems. The role involves ensuring quality installation, compliance with design specifications and standards, and coordination with consultants and contractors for smooth execution. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in MEP (Plumbing) works, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to manage on-site plumbing activities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and implement

plumbing system layouts

for water supply, drainage, sewage, and rainwater harvesting. Ensure that all plumbing installations comply with

IS codes, NBC norms

, and project design standards. Coordinate with

architectural, structural, and electrical teams

to ensure seamless MEP service integration. Supervise

installation, testing, and commissioning

of plumbing systems, including STP, WTP, and pump rooms. Prepare

BOQs, material take-offs

, and assist in procurement planning and vendor coordination. Conduct

regular site inspections

to monitor quality, progress, and adherence to timelines. Resolve

technical and design issues

in coordination with consultants and contractors. Maintain proper documentation of

drawings, test reports, approvals, and material submittals

. Ensure compliance with

safety and environmental standards

during execution. Support the project team in achieving

cost efficiency and timely completion

of plumbing works.

Requirements

2-3 years of experience in

plumbing and MEP works

for residential or commercial real estate projects. Proven experience in

on-site plumbing supervision and system installation

. Strong understanding of

hydraulic design, water supply, and drainage systems

. Proficiency in

AutoCAD

, MS Office, and reading MEP drawings. Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented and committed to quality execution and project timelines.

Education:

BE / B.Tech in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
