Job Summary:

The Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining all plumbing systems within the hotel, including water supply, drainage, sanitation, and related equipment. The role ensures smooth water operations and supports guest comfort and hotel functionality.

Key Responsibilities:1. Plumbing Installation & Repairs

Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drainage systems, faucets, valves, traps, and sanitary fittings. Fix leakages, blockages, and pressure issues promptly. Install and service bathroom fixtures such as showers, bathtubs, WC units, washbasins, bidets, and urinals. Replace or repair faulty pipes, joints, and plumbing components.

2. Preventive Maintenance

Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, and back-of-house plumbing systems. Clean and maintain water tanks, sump pumps, and water heaters (geyser/boiler connections). Check and maintain piping lines, grease traps, sewage pipes, and manholes. Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed accurately.

3. Equipment Service & Maintenance

Maintain and repair pumps, water motors, RO plant plumbing connections, and filtration systems. Support maintenance in kitchen and laundry areas related to plumbing equipment. Ensure proper functioning of hot and cold water supply systems.

4. Safety & Compliance

Follow hotel safety procedures and plumbing standards. Ensure compliance with local municipal water and sanitation regulations. Report any water contamination concerns or major pipe damage immediately.

5. Documentation & Inventory

Maintain daily work logs and service reports. Inform the supervisor about required spare parts, fittings, and material shortages. Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.

6. Guest Service & Coordination

Attend guest complaints related to bathroom leaks, blockages, and water supply issues promptly and courteously. Coordinate with Housekeeping and Front Office for room access and repair updates. Ensure minimal inconvenience to guests while carrying out repair tasks.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
