Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Install water supply lines, drainage systems, and fixtures (toilets, taps, sinks, geysers, etc.) Understand and interpret plumbing layouts, blueprints, and technical drawings. Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems. Perform pressure tests and leak detection to ensure pipework integrity. Collaborate with other MEP workers (electricians, HVAC technicians, etc.) for smooth execution. Inspect and troubleshoot plumbing systems and replace defective components. Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes. Maintain records of materials used and work completed. Work under the direction of the MEP Supervisor or Site Engineer.

Skills & Requirements:

Knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment. Ability to work with PVC, CPVC, GI, and PPR piping. Understanding of safety practices on a construction site. Physical stamina to work in varied conditions (indoor/outdoor). Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

ITI/Diploma in Plumbing or relevant trade certification. Minimum 2 years of experience in plumbing work at construction sites (residential/commercial).
