Key Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, medical gas lines, pumps, valves, drains, water heaters, and related equipment.
Inspect plumbing systems regularly to ensure compliance with local, state, and healthcare regulations.
Respond to urgent maintenance requests and troubleshoot plumbing issues quickly and safely.
Perform preventative maintenance on all hospital plumbing systems.
Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and safety teams to address building infrastructure needs.
Maintain accurate records of all work performed, materials used, and inspections completed.
Ensure compliance with infection control procedures and hospital safety standards.
Qualifications
High school diploma
Minimum
2-5 years plumbing experience
, preferably in a hospital
Knowledge of
medical gas systems
(if applicable).
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
