Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures. Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues such as leaks or blockages. Read and interpret blueprints and building specifications. Collaborate with other construction professionals, electricians, and HVAC technicians. Ensure all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet safety and building codes. Respond to plumbing emergencies and perform timely repairs. Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of plumbing systems. Keep records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on jobs. Recommend upgrades or improvements as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a plumber. Relevant plumbing certification or license (as required by local regulations). Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, tools, and procedures. Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints. Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations. Good physical condition and manual dexterity. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Willingness to work flexible hours or on-call shifts when needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in [residential/commercial/hospitality/co-working spaces - modify as needed]. Additional certifications in welding or HVAC is a plus. Knowledge of green plumbing practices is an advantage.
