Job Summary:

We are hiring for a skilled and experienced

PLC & SCADA Engineer

to design, develop, and implement industrial automation solutions using

Siemens (S7-300/400/1200/1500, TIA Portal, Win CC)

and

Rockwell (Allen-Bradley Control Logix, RSLogix5000, Factory Talk)

platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting automation systems in industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and test PLC programs using

Siemens TIA Portal / Step 7

and

Rockwell RS Logic 5000 / Studio 5000

Develop and configure SCADA systems using

Win CC, Win CC OA (Siemens)

and

Factory Talk View SE/ME (Rockwell)

Perform on-site commissioning and troubleshooting of automation systems Read and interpret electrical and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs, I/O lists, loop diagrams) Integrate HMIs, VFDs, sensors, actuators, and other field devices Interface PLCs with SCADA, DCS, MES, and ERP systems where required Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards (IEC, ISA, etc.) Generate documentation: Functional Design Specs (FDS), I/O list, FAT/SAT protocols Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineering teams, clients, and vendors Provide remote and on-site support as needed during commissioning or maintenance

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

Strong experience in

Siemens PLCs

(S7-300/400/1200/1500, TIA Portal, Step 7) Strong experience in

Rockwell PLCs

(Control Logic, Compact Logic, RS Logic 5000, Studio 5000) Experience in electrical design, ladder logic, SCADA systems, HMI development. SCADA system development in

Win CC / Win CC OA

and

Factory Talk View

HMI development experience Knowledge of industrial communication protocols:

Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus

Understanding of control system design, loop tuning, alarms, interlocks, and safety logic

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Good written and verbal communication Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Willingness to travel to client sites for commissioning and support

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in

Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechatronics Engineering

1-5 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation Siemens and/or Rockwell certification is a plus Experience in industries like

FMCG, Oil & Gas, Water, Power, Automotive

is advantageous

Additional Preferences:

Knowledge of safety PLCs (Siemens S7-1200F/1500F, Rockwell Guard Logic) Experience with data logging, reporting, and IIoT integration Familiarity with version control tools like GIT or automation project tracking tools
