As part of its expansion, Rean WaterTech is strengthening its Automation team and invites passionate, growth-oriented professionals to apply for the position of Automation Engineer / PLC-SCADA Engineer.

The Automation Engineer will be responsible for design, implementation, integration, testing, and commissioning of PLC-SCADA systems for end-to-end water supply EPC projects. The role covers automation across intake works, WTPs, pumping stations, OHTs, and distribution networks, ensuring reliable, efficient, and remotely monitored system operations.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement PLC-SCADA systems for intake works, WTPs, pumping stations, OHTs, and distribution networks (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider, Delta, etc.) Develop and test PLC logic, control philosophies, and SCADA screens as per project requirements Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and electrical teams for system integration Supervise installation, wiring, and integration of automation panels, instruments, and field devices Carry out FAT, SAT, loop checking, testing, and commissioning Provide troubleshooting and automation support during commissioning and O&M phases Prepare basic documentation including as-built drawings, backups, and O&M manuals

Technical Skills

Hands-on experience with PLC platforms (Siemens / Allen Bradley / Schneider / equivalent) Experience with SCADA software (WinCC, Wonderware, iFIX, Citect, or equivalent) Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet, OPC, etc.) Familiarity with instrumentation (flow, level, pressure, quality sensors) Understanding of VFDs, MCCs, control panels, and field wiring

Required Qualifications

B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or Automation Engineering

Experience

3 - 5 years of relevant experience in PLC-SCADA systems, preferably in:

Water supply projects Infrastructure or utility-scale automation
