. The candidate will be responsible for PLC programming, HMI development, machine commissioning, and on-site support for custom-built automation systems across automotive industries.
PLC & Automation Programming
Develop, test, and debug PLC programs for
SPM and automated production lines
Work with PLC platforms:
Siemens (S7-1200 / S7-1500)
Mitsubishi (FX5U, R Series)
Allenbradly / Omron / B&R (added advantage)
Implement machine logic for:
Servo systems
VFDs
Pneumatics & hydraulics
Safety circuits
Commissioning & Support
Perform
in-house testing, dry runs, FAT
Handle
site commissioning, SAT, and production support
Troubleshoot electrical, PLC, HMI, and field I/O issues on-site
Required to Travel to customer place
Documentation & Coordination
Prepare and maintain:
PLC program documentation
I/O lists
Functional descriptions
Electrical interface documents
Coordinate with:
Mechanical design
Electrical design
Robot programmers
Customers and suppliers
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of machine sequences and interlocks
Experience with:
Sensors, actuators, vision systems, barcode/RFID
Servo drives and motion control
Ability to read and understand:
Electrical schematics
Pneumatic & hydraulic diagrams
Knowledge of
data logging, traceability, and production reporting
(added advantage)
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
