Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a PLC Programmer at PID Tech. The PLC Programmer will be responsible for designing, programming, testing, and troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for various automation projects. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, develop control strategies, and implement PLC programs to optimize efficiency and productivity. The role also includes conducting system tests, documenting technical specifications, and providing continuous support and maintenance for PLC-based systems. Qualifications Strong programming skills in PLC languages such as ladder logic and structured text Experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting Knowledge of industrial automation and control systems Familiarity with HMI and SCADA systems Understanding of electrical schematics and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus) Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings Problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and teamwork skills Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field
