Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Automation Control Engineer role located in Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area. The Automation Control Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting, designing control systems, testing automation & and robotics systems. The role also involves being responsible for customer site installation and commissioning. The PLC Programmer will be responsible for programming, maintaining, and troubleshooting PLC systems. The candidate will be expected to work with other departments such as controls engineering, research and development, and production to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification.

Qualifications

Expertise in Industrial automation (PLC, Robots, Drives) Proficiency in PLC programming languages such as Ladder, Instruction List (IL), Structured Text (ST), and Function Block Diagram (FBD) Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting PLC systems Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems used in industrial automation Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics Experience in HMI programming and development Working knowledge of SCADA and DCS systems Experience and ability in Troubleshooting. Electrical Engineering skills. Control Systems Design experience Robotics skills and experience Good problem-solving skills A degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field Strong analytical and communication skills Experience in the Industrial Automation field is a plus. Additional qualifications that would be beneficial include experience in motion control and robotics programming, familiarity with industry standards such as IEC-61131-3 and ISO-9001, and knowledge of networking protocols such as Modbus and Ethernet/IP.
