Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

PLC Programmer

to join our engineering team focused on the design, development, and commissioning of

Special Purpose Machines (SPM)

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing PLC logic, HMI screens, troubleshooting automation systems, and supporting the build and testing of custom machines.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement

PLC programs

(Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron, etc.) for new SPMs. Design and configure

HMI/SCADA

systems. Work with mechanical and electrical design teams to integrate control systems. Commission and debug machines during in-house trials and at customer sites. Read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics. Perform

fault diagnosis and troubleshooting

during machine development and production. Modify programs to accommodate

design changes

or to improve performance. Maintain documentation of code, wiring diagrams, and machine manuals. Ensure compliance with

safety standards

and industry best practices. Provide training and support to internal teams and end-users.

Qualifications:

Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation Engineering. 2+ years of hands-on experience in PLC programming in an SPM or automation environment. Strong working knowledge of

ladder logic

,

structured text

, and HMI/SCADA systems. Familiarity with sensors, actuators, pneumatic systems, VFDs, and servo motors. Experience with CAD tools (AutoCAD Electrical preferred) for electrical layouts and wiring diagrams. Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Willingness to travel for on-site commissioning and support.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP). Basic knowledge of robot programming (Fanuc, ABB, or others) is a plus. Hands-on experience with machine vision systems is an advantage.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
