We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented PLC Programmer to design, develop, and implement control systems for our electrical equipment manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and safety of automated systems.
Key Responsibilities:
PLC Programming and Development:
Design, program, and test PLC-based control systems.
Develop and optimize control logic for manufacturing processes.
Configure and troubleshoot communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profibus).
System Integration:
Integrate PLC systems with HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), SCADA, and other automation systems.
Collaborate with engineers to ensure seamless integration of machinery and control systems.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
Diagnose and resolve PLC-related issues, minimizing downtime.
Provide support for electrical and automation systems during production.
Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, ladder logic, and operation manuals.
Generate reports on system performance and recommend improvements.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, IEC).
Design fail-safe systems and implement safety interlocks.
Project Management:
Manage multiple automation projects from concept to commissioning.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for equipment procurement and installation.
Qualifications and Skills:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in PLC programming and automation in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in programming PLCs such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, or Schneider Electric.
Strong knowledge of ladder logic, function block diagrams, and structured text programming.
Hands-on experience with HMI/SCADA development tools (e.g., Wonderware, Ignition).
Familiarity with industrial networking and communication protocols.
Preferred:
Knowledge of robotics integration and motion control systems.
Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical control systems.
Certification in industrial automation or PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell Automation Certification).
