Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled

PLC Maintenance & Troubleshooting Engineer

to handle day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement activities of PLC-based automation machines. The role involves ensuring high machine uptime, preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives in an industrial manufacturing environment.

B.E - Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)

B.E - Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)

Key Responsibilities

Perform

PLC machine troubleshooting and maintenance activities

. Carry out

repairs, preventive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance

for automation machines. Ensure

machine uptime

as per planned targets through systematic maintenance approaches. Execute

Preventive Maintenance (PM)

,

Time-Based Maintenance (TBM)

, and

Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM)

. Track and improve

Uptime, MTTR, and MTBF

to meet departmental KPIs. Ensure

spares planning

and coordinate with maintenance stores. Maintain

PLC & HMI backups

, traceability servers, and related software securely. Integrate and enforce

safety principles

and safe operating practices at all times. Adhere to

IATF

and

ISO 14001

standards and applicable processes. Participate in

Kaizen

and continuous improvement initiatives.

Technical Skills & Knowledge Required

Strong knowledge of

Siemens PLC & HMI programming and troubleshooting

(Siemens S7-300, S7-1200, S7-1500)*
Knowledge of

pneumatics, hydro-pneumatics, and hydraulics

. Experience in

modifying pneumatic circuits

for automation requirements. Knowledge of

maintenance of PLC-based and PC-based machines

. Familiarity with

Industry 4.0 concepts

such as

Traceability systems

and

OEE monitoring

. Experience in maintaining

barcode scanners, barcode printers

, and

vision systems

. Working knowledge of

SAP - PM module

. Proficiency in

MS Office

for reporting and documentation.
