Job Description

Essential Requirements:

1. Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field.

2. Experience: 2-5 years of experience in PLC programming, automation, or control systems.

3. Programming Skills: Proficiency in PLC programming languages such as:

- Ladder Logic (LD)

- Function Block Diagram (FBD)

- Structured Text (ST)

- Sequential Function Chart (SFC)

4. PLC Platforms: Experience with popular PLC platforms like:

- Allen-Bradley (Rockwell Automation)

- Siemens

- Schneider Electric (Modicon)

- Mitsubishi

- Omron

5. Communication Protocols: Knowledge of industrial communication protocols like:

- Modbus

- Profibus

- Ethernet/IP

- DeviceNet

6. Troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot and debug PLC programs and hardware issues.

7. Documentation: Familiarity with documentation standards and ability to maintain accurate records.

Desirable Requirements:

1. SCADA Systems: Experience with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.

2. HMI Development: Knowledge of Human-Machine Interface (HMI) development tools like Wonderware, GE Digital, or Siemens.

3. Industrial Automation: Familiarity with industrial automation applications, such as manufacturing, process control, or robotics.

4. Programming Languages: Knowledge of programming languages like C, C++, or Python.

5. Certifications: Certifications like PLC programming certifications or automation-related certifications.
