PLC & Control Programming:

• Develop, modify, and maintain PLC programs using Ladder Logic.

• Implement control logic for battery charging/discharging, protection interlocks, alarms, and fault handling.

• Develop PLC logic for grid-connected operation modes.

• Configure and test communication protocols (Modbus TCP/IP, IEC-61850, OPC).

System Integration:

• Integrate PLC with BMS, PCS/Inverters, EMS, SCADA, protection relays, and meters.

• Ensure interoperability with utility/grid operator systems.

• Support third-party OEM interface testing.

Testing & Commissioning:

• Perform FAT, SAT, and site commissioning.

• Conduct I/O testing, logic validation, interlock verification.

• Support grid compliance testing.

• Troubleshoot control system issues.

Documentation & Compliance:

• Prepare control philosophy, PLC logic diagrams, I/O lists, cause & effect, and test procedures.

• Maintain PLC program version control.

• Ensure compliance with IEC/IEEE standards and grid codes.

Operations & Support:

• Provide technical support during O&M.

• Support performance optimization and reliability improvements.

• Coordinate with electrical, protection, EMS, and SCADA teams.

Work Experience

• PLC platforms: Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, ABB.

• Programming: Ladder Logic, Function Block, Structured Text.

• Protocols: Modbus, IEC-61850, OPC, DNP3.

• SCADA/HMI integration.

• Power systems and grid synchronization knowledge.

Soft Skills:

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• Good communication and documentation.

• Willingness to travel for commissioning.
