Playout Engineer
Job Description
Our Playout Engineers are responsible for ensuring that the Shalom World channels remain always on-air You will be part of a 247 shift team to add Playlist, do technical Quality Check, record and switch to live feeds, proactively monitor, troubleshoot, analyze performance and upgrade our broadcast systems and will work closely with Playlist, Graphics and Post-Production to ensure a seamless viewing experience for our audience Skills Degree in a technical related subject or equivalent experience in this field including proven MCR (Master Control Room) experience. Good working knowledge of Broadcast video formats, protocols, and encoding standards. Understanding of Video over IP Good working knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems. Understanding of the workflows and methodologies of Digital Asset Management. Experience in Network and System administration activities. Good command of written and spoken English. Strong communication and good interpersonal skills.
