The Play-Based Learning Intern will engage two children, aged 6 and 9 years, through a combination of
goal-directed
and
flow-based learning activities
. The approach will include both
structured learning methods and naturalistic play-based interactions
, carefully designed to foster development across multiple domains.
The internship involves
both research and implementation
--trying out different strategies, adapting them in real time, and documenting the outcomes. While activities will be primarily
indoor
, outdoor engagement will also be included.
Key Responsibilities
Engage the children with creative, physical, and cognitive games designed for their age group.
Implement both
goal-oriented plans
and
open-ended, exploratory learning sessions
Engage children daily through structured play and learning activities
Facilitate daily play and learning activities (indoor and outdoor) aligned with a provided strategy.
Document activities and outcomes systematically based on the given strategy
Adapt activities in line with children's developmental goals and responses
Collaborate with mentors to follow and adjust strategies based on real-time feedback.
Participate in discussions to refine strategies and bring in research-based ideas
Ensure a safe, positive, and stimulating environment for the children
