Job Description
Collect blood, urine, stool, and other body fluid samples from patients.
Perform routine laboratory tests including hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and pathology.
Prepare specimens for examination and ensure proper labeling and storage.
Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
Record and analyze test results accurately and report to the concerned physician or department.
Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents.
Ensure proper disposal of biohazardous waste following safety protocols.
Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs), infection control, and quality control guidelines.
Enter patient data into the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
Assist in preparing diagnostic reports and documentation.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the laboratory at all times.
