Job Description
Operate X-ray equipment to capture images of patients’ internal organs and structures as per physician’s request.
Position patients correctly and shield them from unnecessary radiation exposure.
Maintain and calibrate radiologic equipment regularly.
Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and hospital guidelines.
Assist radiologists in performing advanced imaging procedures as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
Explain procedures to patients to alleviate anxiety and ensure cooperation.
Adhere to infection control policies and maintain cleanliness of equipment and imaging rooms.
Monitor the condition of the equipment and report faults or required servicing.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
