Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented X-Ray Technician to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and assist radiologists in accurate reporting. The ideal candidate should be technically sound, patient-friendly, and safety-conscious.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate X-ray machines and other radiology equipment
Prepare patients for imaging procedures
Maintain accurate imaging records and reports
Ensure radiation safety protocols are strictly followed
Assist doctors/radiologists in image interpretation when required
Maintain and calibrate equipment regularly
Qualifications:
Diploma or Certificate in X-Ray / Radiography Technician
Registration with relevant state/parastatal council (if applicable)
Good understanding of imaging techniques and radiation safety
Basic computer skills
