Job Title: Hospital Electrician
Location: Platinum Hospital Pvt. Ltd., Thane
Department: Engineering & Maintenance
Reporting To: Maintenance Supervisor / Facility Manager
Role Overview:
The Hospital Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all electrical systems and equipment within the hospital premises. The role ensures uninterrupted power supply and adherence to hospital safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control systems, and hospital equipment.
Ensure safe and continuous operation of power supply, backup generators, UPS, and emergency lighting systems.
Monitor and maintain HT/LT panels, transformers, and distribution boards.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance as per hospital maintenance schedules.
Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns or emergency calls.
Maintain logs and records of electrical maintenance activities.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and NABH requirements.
Coordinate with biomedical, HVAC, and facility teams for technical support.
Qualifications & Experience:
ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
Minimum 3–5 years of experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setup.
Strong knowledge of electrical panels, UPS systems, and hospital-grade equipment connections.
