Job Description
Prepare the Operation Theatre for all scheduled surgeries in advance.
Handle, check, and sterilize instruments and equipment.
Assist surgeons and nurses during procedures by organizing instruments and delivering them promptly.
Monitor and maintain aseptic conditions in the OT at all times.
Perform routine checks and maintenance of equipment to avoid breakdowns.
Keep proper inventories of instruments, implants, and consumable stocks.
Ensure proper disposal of waste and sharps following hospital protocols.
Guide and supervise junior OT Technicians in their duties.
Prepare and maintain reports and documents related to OT usage.
Handle emergencies efficiently and respond promptly under pressure.
