Job Description
Prepare and maintain operation theatre before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Sterilize and arrange surgical instruments and equipment according to protocols.
Assist surgeons and nursing staff with gowning, gloving, and surgical draping.
Ensure the availability of required instruments, materials, and equipment for each surgery.
Handle surgical instruments during operations, maintaining sterility and safety.
Operate and monitor OT equipment such as suction machines, diathermy units, and surgical lights.
Adhere strictly to infection control and safety standards.
Maintain records of OT consumables, equipment usage, and sterilization cycles.
Support in post-operative cleanup and readiness of the OT for the next case.
