Job Description
Prepare patients for diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab.
Assist physicians during angiograms, angioplasties, pacemaker insertions, and other cardiac catheterization procedures.
Monitor and document patient vitals and procedural data throughout the process.
Administer medications and IVs as prescribed.
Ensure the sterility of the lab and compliance with infection control protocols.
Handle emergency situations promptly and effectively.
Educate patients and families about post-procedure care.
Maintain accurate nursing records and assist in equipment handling and care.
