Job Description
Conduct daily ward rounds and monitor the progress of admitted patients.
Assess, diagnose, and initiate treatment plans as per consultant guidance.
Document medical history, physical examination findings, treatment orders, and progress notes accurately in patient records.
Respond promptly to medical emergencies, code blues, and deterioration in patient conditions.
Coordinate with nursing staff, diagnostic services, and consultants for effective patient care.
Administer medications, IV fluids, and other treatments as prescribed.
Ensure timely execution of investigations (e.g., lab tests, imaging) and review results.
Provide clinical support during procedures and surgeries as needed.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and prognosis.
Ensure all clinical activities are conducted in line with hospital policies and medical ethics.
Maintain accurate records for discharge summaries, referrals, and transfers.
