Job Description
Perform initial examination, history-taking, and basic investigations for walk-in patients.
Provide basic treatment, first aid, and stabilization before referral to a specialist if needed.
Support senior consultants during OPD consultations and procedures.
Monitor and manage follow-up patients under the guidance of consultants.
Maintain and update patient records, prescriptions, and case summaries in the EMR or manual files.
Counsel patients regarding medications, lifestyle changes, and treatment adherence.
Coordinate with diagnostic departments (lab, radiology) for timely investigations and results.
Ensure smooth patient flow and reduce waiting times through efficient triage and management.
Handle minor medical emergencies within OPD and escalate serious cases appropriately.
Adhere to hospital policies, medical protocols, and ethical standards in all patient interactions.
