Job Description
Register and verify patient eligibility under MJPJAY using the government portal.
Create and submit pre-authorization requests for eligible procedures or treatments.
Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff to obtain required medical documentation and justifications for claims.
Prepare final bills, upload supporting documents, and submit claims on the MJPJAY portal.
Follow up on claim status, respond to queries or rejections, and ensure timely reimbursement.
Maintain accurate records of approved cases, claims submitted, and payments received.
Coordinate with patients and their families to explain scheme coverage, exclusions, and required documentation.
Ensure compliance with scheme rules and hospital billing protocols.
Assist in audits and inspections by government officials or third-party administrators (TPAs).
Generate regular reports for hospital management on MJPJAY billing and claim performance.
