Clean, disinfect, sterilize, and assemble surgical instruments and medical equipment.
Operate autoclaves and other sterilization equipment following hospital protocols.
Ensure proper handling, packaging, and storage of sterile instruments.
Maintain records of sterilization procedures and equipment maintenance.
Follow infection control guidelines and hospital safety standards.
Conduct routine checks on sterilization equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Coordinate with surgical teams and other hospital departments for instrument availability.
Dispose of biohazard waste safely and according to regulations.
