Job Description
Perform 2D Echocardiograms and other echocardiographic procedures (e.g., M-mode, Doppler studies, Stress Echo, Contrast Echo, TEE) as required.
Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment and ensure proper settings for accurate imaging.
Assist in preparing patients for procedures, explaining the process, and ensuring patient comfort.
Capture accurate images and video clips and evaluate quality before presenting them to physicians.
Record and report preliminary findings and assist cardiologists during diagnostic interpretation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
Adhere to protocols and safety standards related to patient care and infection control.
Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff regarding test scheduling and results.
Calibrate and troubleshoot ultrasound machines and report equipment issues as necessary.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of patient care and reporting.
