About The Company:

Designation: Plating Plant Supervisor

Education:

Diploma or BE Chemical, Metallurgy, Industrial Chemistry, or related field.

Experience: 3 to 5 Years

Salary: As per industry standards

Job Location: Bhamboli, Chakan

Facilities: Canteen, Transportation (Chinchwad-Bhosari-Talawade-Nigdi-Dehu-Moshi-Chakan)

Key Responsibilities:

Team Supervision:

Lead, train, and supervise plating line operators and technicians.

Assign daily tasks and monitor workflow to meet production schedules.

Ensure adherence to work instructions and standard operating procedures.

Process Oversight:

Manage plating processes such as electroplating, anodizing, or chemical conversion. Monitor and control parameters like temperature, pH, voltage, and plating time. Troubleshoot and resolve process deviations or equipment malfunctions

Quality Assurance:

Ensure finished products meet specifications and customer requirements.

Conduct visual inspections, thickness measurements, and adhesion tests.

Work with the quality team to investigate non-conformities and implement corrective actions.

Chemical Management:

Oversee preparation and maintenance of plating baths, including chemical additions.

Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.

Monitor chemical inventory and coordinate replenishment.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):

Enforce safety protocols including PPE usage and chemical handling procedures.

Maintain compliance with local environmental regulations and company policies.

Coordinate regular safety training and emergency response drills.

Maintenance & Housekeeping:

Schedule and coordinate preventive maintenance of plating tanks, filtration systems, and ventilation.

Ensure cleanliness and proper housekeeping of the plating area.

Reporting & Documentation:

Maintain daily production logs, chemical usage records, and bath analysis reports.

Report production KPIs and operational issues to management.

Requirements:

Strong understanding of plating processes, bath chemistry, and quality standards.

Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA)

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Certifications in hazardous materials handling or safety compliance are an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹1,000,000.00 per year
