Job Description

Position Summary




To increase the market position of Process platform in the country through managing team members, divisions, distributors, customers and thereby driving business development and sales. Responsible for directing territory sales managers and distributors to increase sales volume and margins with existing and new accounts. Accountable for motivating and offering on going direction to staff executing regional sales goals and sales plans. Responsible for growing distribution business and maintaining effective agreements. Has accountability for Strategic Direct account development within the country. Actively supports the Corporation's Win Strategy.



Proactively works with all stakeholders from various divisions and related support departments to ensure on time customer service needs are met or exceeded. Developing new markets / applications, distributors and direct accounts for future growth. Identifying potential for new products and supporting division in localization / new product development. Ensures profitable growth for the platform within the country.


Reports to National Sales Manager, Filtration India.


Location : Navi Mumbai


Responsibilities







Develop strategies for focus markets, products & new markets. Develop training programs to support distribution and Direct customers. Develop marketing and sales promotion programs for distribution and Direct customers. Coordinate the National Account sales efforts. Responsibility for promotion of products. Manage customer relations. Actively communicate with key accounts, distributors to develop and maintain strong relationships. Ensures sales goals are achieved. Ensures Parker products and services are meeting customer satisfaction levels and resolves conflict issues effectively and efficiently. Implements strategies to recognize new revenue and margin opportunities. Strategically manages the development and implementation of appropriate responses from competitors. Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of competitive products and their activity in the marketplace and provide reports, on a regular and/or monthly basis. Keeps management and managers aware of changes which would affect the distribution of Parker products. Drive application engineering to support Sales Team / Distributors for Value Selling, highlighting / demonstrating technical superiority of Parker Products against competition. Ensure on time payment collections to maintain financial health. Identify exhibition and market reach opportunities for focus markets to participate and build brand awareness. Develop and guide sales team members to grow in their career.



Qualifications




Bachelor of Engineering (Chemicals) or Bachelor of Science (Biopharma). MBA preferred. Minimum 10-12 years sales experience with knowledge of product applications, competition, and markets. Technically competent in either:

+ Oil & Gas Filtration, and/or
+ Industrial Process Filtration, and/or
+ Life Science / Biopharma / Pharmaceutical Filtration
Experience in sales team management of minimum 3 years. Experience in Distribution Management of minimum 6-7 years. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Highly organized and self-motivated. Good working knowledge of Direct and distribution models. Must have proven track record of exceeds plus experience. Revenue responsibility will be approx. $6M to $8M plus.
